2024-09-29 - Things are better

It's quite late, but I've been meaning to put something here for a while. I've been on HRT since the 11th and while I think I've been more depressed recently (potential interaction of Cyproterone Acetate), I'm feeling a lot better about my gender. It helps with a lot of other stuff, too, but I won't pretend it's fixed everything. It's more doable though, somehow. The only effects I've seen so far are chest tenderness, more variable mood (less like I have to feel one thing for a while - its more okay to be happy then sad or vice versa), and my face looks a little different? I think it's early to tell but my partner (Eliza) agrees. Might just be the early skin changes. I have a nail brush I use for scrubbing my skin and it seems less tolerable now. Thinking about getting a different brush.

Anyway, my outlook is way better than it was. Unfortunately I think my dosage is still low (hooray NZ guidelines) but I've not got the worst of it (currently on 50mcg estradot twice weekly, and 12.5mg cpa daily), and I'm looking forward to seeing what my levels are like at 3 months.

Still not out at work and I don't usually girlmode. There's still a long way to go.

Anyway, dear reader, things do seem to get better :)
